Valencia inaugurates its Centre of Excellence and Data Office to boost urban innovation

The City Council of Valencia has inaugurated its Centre of Excellence and Data Office (CEOD), a new space that strengthens the city’s leadership in urban innovation, sustainability, and digital transformation. Integrated into the EDINT – Data Spaces for Smart Urban Infrastructures project, promoted by the Spanish Federation of Municipalities and Provinces (FEMP) and funded by the EU Recovery Plan through Red.es, the CEOD is located in La Harinera, the heart of Valencia’s innovation ecosystem. The centre will put data at the service of citizens, businesses, and public administration, fostering smart solutions in mobility, energy efficiency, and digital public services. It will also serve as the foundation for Valencia’s Digital Twin, a tool to simulate the city in real time and enhance data-driven decision-making. ¡More info in this link!
