The Ministry of Transport promotes the European common mobility and logistics data space

March 02, 2026

DESCRIPCIÓN

Spanish Ministry of Transport and Sustainable Mobility has hosted in Madrid the official launch of the BoostEDIC M&L project, a strategic initiative aimed at accelerating the creation of a European common mobility and logistics data space.

The project will enable the secure and standardized exchange of data between public authorities and operators, fostering interoperability across Europe. Through the intelligent use of data, it will enhance real-time information, improve coordination between transport modes, and increase the efficiency of public services — moving towards a more connected and sustainable system.

BoostEDIC M&L brings together six EU Member States and a network of up to 25 organizations, including public bodies, research and technology institutions, industry associations, and innovation leaders. The initiative is backed by €15 million in funding from the Programa Europa Digital and will run for four years, aligning with the EU’s key priorities on digitalisation and sustainable transport.
