Spain approves new sustainable mobility law

Spain’s Congress has passed the new Sustainable Mobility Law, redefining national transport policy around sustainability, digitalization, and inclusion. For the first time, the law recognizes mobility as a social right and establishes the Integrated Mobility Data Space (EDIM) to enhance transport traceability and efficiency. It also drives transport decarbonization, promoting low-emission vehicles and more sustainable intermodal solutions. The reform is key to unlocking €10 billion in EU recovery funds.
