Data Act Implementation Starts 12th September

DESCRIPCIÓN

The Data Act – in effect since 11^th January 2024 – will be applicable from 12^th September 2025 (with the exception of certain provisions, who will not become applicable until a later date). Its scope extends to all organisations that market products and services covered by the regulations within the European Union market, regardless of where they are established.

The key provisions mainly affect:

• Manufacturers and suppliers of connected products.
• Related service providers.
• Data processing service providers.
