The need for observability and its requirements has been stated in the Rulebook

Last June, the International Data Spaces Association (IDSA) published a paper on observability in data spaces, where they analyse the necessity, address the last findings of the topic and value its use in potential solutions.

IDSA focused on how to integrate observability throughout the entire data space life cycle (from catalog to transfer process) and presented a classification of observability types. The different addressed examples probe the relevance of this element in fostering trust, transparency and accountability during the data sharing process.
