Euskadi is positioning itself as a reference in cybersecurity data spaces

DESCRIPCIÓN

Euskadi is strengthening its position as a national leader in cybersecurity data spaces through the strategic projects BCSSD (Basque Cyber Security Shared Data) and Ciberdata, both aimed at reinforcing digital sovereignty and the resilience of the Basque industrial ecosystem through the secure sharing of cyber-threat information.

These initiatives promote collaborative ecosystems involving companies, technology centres, and public administrations, positioning data as a key asset for innovation, competitiveness, and informed decision-making. The BCSSD project, funded by the Basque Government and European funds, is developing a decentralized and trustworthy data space for sharing cybersecurity information, with results already validated in real-world environments.

Meanwhile, Ciberdata, promoted by the GAIA Cluster, a BAIDATA partner, is a data space demonstrator that will enable organisations to test technologies and use cases based on European standards, fostering collaboration and accelerating the data economy within the cybersecurity domain.
