DESCRIPCIÓN

The Spanish Strategic Programme for Advanced Health 2025–2027 (PESV) aims to strengthen coordination between science, healthcare system, and industry in order to drive biomedical innovation and the digitalization of healthcare. The programme builds on the PERTE for Advanced Health under Spain’s Recovery Plan, which has mobilized more than €2.8 billion in investment.

Its key objectives include the development of health data spaces, the promotion of advanced analytics and AI in healthcare, and the strengthening of research, the biotechnology industry, and the sector’s technological capabilities. Through this strategy, Spain seeks to consolidate a structural model for healthcare innovation and reinforce its position within the European and international digital health ecosystem.
